The gardens at Danson park put on a splendid show in September each year when all the daffodils poke their heads up and burst into flower.
Spring is such a fantastic time in the garden, not only “Daffys” but dozens of other plants all “feel the urge” of Spring and amaze you with their gorgeous displays. But the “Daffys” reign supreme and outnumber the other plants. At a guess with what has been planted and allowing for multiplication over the years there must be two or three thousand. Beautiful whites, orange and yellow hues the variety is incredible.
So each year we open our gardens for Daffodil Day on a Sunday in September.
